Come live with me and be my Love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That hills and valleys, dale and field,
And all the craggy mountains yield.
There will we sit upon the rocks
And see the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers, to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
There will I make thee beds of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle
Embroidery's all with leaves of myrtle.
A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull,
Fair lined slippers for the cold,
With buckles of the purest gold
Wish we were walking hand in hand down a path strewn with orange, yellow and red fall leaves
Walking together under a florescent canopy, broken here and there with bright morning sunlight
Every time we would come to a sunlit spot, we would pause, and I would take you in my arms and kiss you passionately
Then I would look deep into your eyes, and with a smile, take your hand once again and walk, together, to the next sun dappled opportunity
In My Heart
There is a secret place
Where no one ever goes
It is hidden and protected
Kept safe and quite secure
There is only room for one here
Though The space is rather large
The space recerved for one here
the place within my heart
You intered there some time ago
I wanted you to know
The secret placewithin my heart
is yours and yours alone
