FALL WALK

Fall Walk

Wish we were walking hand in hand down a path strewn with orange, yellow and red fall leaves...

Walking together under a florescent canopy, broken here and there with bright morning sunlight.

Every time we would come to a sunlit spot, we would pause, and I would take you in my arms and kiss you passionately...

Then I would look deep into your eyes, and with a smile, take your hand once again and walk, together, to the next sun dappled opportunity

My love is so near 

But he feels so far  

I fear this love is pointless 

But something strong 

Says it's not 

Is he really worth fighting for? 

Is he really worth praying for? 

I'm so confused 

I don't want make the worng decision 

I love him so much 

I don't know wath to do 

He wont accept me  

he loves me  

I can tell 

But he's too afraid to say 

It's so hard 

or the both of us, 

especially with every thing that gets in the way 

It's not as easy 

as I thought it would be

One and Only You

Each night I pray for you as I lay me down to rest,
I ask God to keep you safe and give you all the best.

I pray that you remain grounded and hold on to your faith,
For God has great things in store for those who patiently wait.

I hope you are joyful and strong, compassionate and sincere,
I hope you believe in love and are able to love without fear.

I pray that you pray the same for me and my existence you do not fret,
 pray this for you, my future companion, but have I met you yet?
